SIYABAMKELA DISABILITY DAY CARE is a non-profit organisation in Lawley, Johannesburg established in 2015.

I worked as a Care Giver in the organisation called SIZO-THUSO COMMUNITY CENTER, which deals with vulnerable and orphanage children. My duty was to work on the field attending my clients from house-to-house, while doing that I discovered that there were too many helpless disabled children in the community. This then motivated me to open a day care for these disabled children.

Our Day Care Offers:

  • Involvement of parents and the community to fight stigmas and neglect
  • Formal education and promote programs that improve their mental health
  • Provides  better life for the disabled children without discrimination, treating them with respect and dignity

We educate these children and get them involved in physical activities.

We work with six months-thirteen years old children and we open Monday to Friday.
